Install StarShare IPTV on Fire TV, Smart TV, Android, Apple and desktop

The setup method changes by operating system and player. Start by identifying the device, then choose a reputable compatible player and use the login format supplied with the account.

Before you start

Prepare the four things every setup needs

Exact device

Know whether you use Fire TV, Android/Google TV, Samsung Tizen, LG webOS, Apple TV, mobile or desktop.

Player app

Install a player that supports the login format supplied for your account.

Credentials

Keep the server URL, username/password or private playlist ready.

Stable network

Use a reliable Wi-Fi signal or Ethernet where practical.

Fire TV

Fire TV and Firestick setup

Check available storage first. Very large playlists and EPG data can make a low-storage Fire TV feel slow even when playback itself is fine. Install a compatible IPTV player from a trusted source and enter the supplied account details.

After the first login, allow the playlist to finish loading. Test one live channel, one movie or series item and the EPG separately. If 4K content struggles, test a lower-resolution channel and compare Wi-Fi with Ethernet or a stronger access point.

Android / Google TV

Android TV and Google TV setup

Android-based televisions and boxes usually have the broadest player selection. Choose a reputable player from Google Play when possible. Many players support XC-style credentials, M3U playlists, EPG, favorites, external players and decoder controls.

If a stream shows a black screen but audio works, try the player's decoder setting before changing the account. Hardware and software decoding can behave differently with certain codecs.

Samsung / LG

Samsung Tizen and LG webOS setup

Samsung and LG televisions do not use the same operating system as Android TV. Search the television's official app store for a compatible player available for your model and region. Some apps use direct XC login; others use a device identifier plus a web portal.

Older televisions may have less memory, so large playlists can take longer to open. If the interface feels slow, remove unused apps where possible and restart the television before assuming the service is at fault.

Smart TV reminder

Do not follow an Android TV tutorial on Samsung Tizen or LG webOS. The menus, app stores and installation methods are different.

Apple

iPhone, iPad and Apple TV setup

Choose an iOS or tvOS player that supports your login type. For a large library, allow the initial sync to complete before judging performance. On Apple TV, Ethernet can be useful for high-bitrate playback if your model and network setup support it.

Keep account details private. Avoid entering credentials into websites or applications that are not clearly associated with the player you chose.
